Brendan McDowell of Plymouth joins the Department of Business and Economic Affairs (BEA) as a principal planner for the Office of Planning and Development.
In this role, he will provide training and technical assistance to land use officials across the state, as well as researching and preparing materials related to planning and land use.
Brendan joins BEA from the City of Manchester, where he was a planner and has recently wrapped up revising the city’s proposed zoning ordinance. He looks forward to working with the OPD team on beneficial ways to guide growth and development in the state for residents today and tomorrow.
Away from the office, he and his wife enjoy exploring New Hampshire in search of great coffee, interesting restaurants, and cool record stores; spending time with their dog, Churro; reading, and playing video games.
