Jay Scarborough, of Plymouth, joins the Department of Business and Economic Affairs as a program specialist with the Office of International Commerce.
In this position, he will be responsible for developing and coordinating market research for businesses considering global markets; grant management, representing BEA in partnership programs, and more.
Most recently, Scarborough was with the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources, where he was the grant program coordinator for the New Hampshire Recreational Trails program. He has previously worked at the New Hampshire Department of Safety and in the private sector for Global Rescue, where his responsibilities included sales and businesses development.
He earned his Master’s in public policy from the University of Massachusetts/Amherst and looks forward to working with New Hampshire businesses in the international trade ecosystem.
