Office of Workforce Opportunity
The New Hampshire Office of Workforce Opportunity (OWO) is dedicated to the success of employers and employees. As the state level administrative entity for all Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Title I Adult, Dislocated Worker, and Youth funds from the US Department of Labor, the Department of Business and Economic Affairs (BEA) is the fiscal agent and official grant recipient.
With one of the nation’s most highly educated workforce, New Hampshire recognizes the importance of building a sustainable talent pipeline to fuel the success of companies across every sector.
The State Workforce Innovation Board (SWIB) is the advisory body for the development, update, and evaluation of the planning process to ensure New Hampshire’s workforce development programs are responsive to the state’s economic development and labor market needs. This is accomplished by partnering with businesses; educational institutions, and organizations, which all support a unified and innovative workforce to meet the needs of the New Hampshire economy.
