Council on Resources and Development

The Council on Resources and Development (CORD) consists of representatives from twelve state agencies. CORD encourages cooperation among agencies regarding the environment, natural resources, and growth management.

Among its other responsibilities, CORD is tasked with administering the Surplus Land Review (SLR) process. CORD collects feedback from state agencies on requests for disposal of state-owned property and makes recommendations to the Governor and Council.

The Commissioner of BEA, or his designee, chairs CORD, while OPD staff provides support. Meetings occur every two months and are held in the Kinsman Conference Room at BEA.
