The InvestNH Municipal Demolition Grant Program makes $5 million available to municipalities, providing funding to use or distribute for the demolition of vacant and dilapidated buildings. Awards are issued to municipalities on a first-come, first-served basis and funds are provided on a reimbursement basis, with $500,000 per municipality cap. Properties subject to demolition must have been vacant for 90 days prior to the application, have no reasonable, cost-effective measures available that could restore it to use, and must be part of a larger revitalization or greening plan. Additional conditions apply.

As of August 5, 2024, application review for the InvestNH municipal DEMO and MPU programs will be paused, pending processing of already submitted applications and assessment of remaining funds. To ensure your application is considered, please submit all necessary documents and complete your application process before August 5. Applications received after this date will not be reviewed unless the pause is lifted.
